For over two decades, Rakesh Lahoti has navigated the dynamic landscape of the financial world with unwavering passion and determination. His journey is marked by profound insights into significant financial events, from the rise and fall of Harshad Mehta and the KP scam to the IL&FS crisis and the market upheavals during the COVID-19 pandemic. Rakesh's resilience and commitment have not only shaped his path but also left an indelible mark on the world of finance, solidifying his position among the titans of success.

Rakesh is a highly qualified Chartered Accountant with certifications from the National Institute of Securities Market (NISM) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), where he completed a specialized course in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection (FAFD). He also holds a Diploma in E-Commerce from Nirma University. Rakesh has served as a Council Member in the Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of ICAI, where he held various leadership roles and chaired several key committees, including those focused on banking, capital markets, and information technology.

Currently, he is a Committee Member in the Capital Market and Financial Market Investors Protection of ICAI, New Delhi. His expertise extends beyond India, having contributed to studies on the capital markets of ASEAN countries and participating in international capital market conferences in locations such as Mauritius and Dubai. Rakesh has also shared his knowledge through lectures on derivatives and capital markets across various platforms.
